Artist's Description
When the heat grows in summer, drinking fresh water from a 'botijo' is fantastic. It is a greatly useful gadget, but what I like most about it is its shape and the texture of the baked clay. I have tried to paint it in a subtle light that emphasized the delicacy of the vessel and its material.

About Angeles M Pomata
After more than a decade of clinical psychology private practice in Madrid, some years ago I moved to the National Park of Cabo de Gata on the south coast of Spain and started my career as a writer. The peculiar environment in my new home made me a self-taught painter, and over the years painting has become a professional activity.
