Situated in East Sussex and owned by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a knight of Edward III, Bodiam Castle was built in 1385 mainly with the intention of defending the area against the potentially invading armies of France during what would become known as The Hundred Years War. In 1925 it was donated by Lord Curzon on his death to The National Trust, and is today open to the public.
After more than a decade of clinical psychology private practice in Madrid, some years ago I moved to the National Park of Cabo de Gata on the south coast of Spain and started my career as a writer. The peculiar environment in my new home made me a self-taught painter, and over the years painting has become a professional activity. At first, using oil to capture the beautiful landscapes I enjoy watching every day, later employing new media, mainly watercolor, and broadening the object range. Thank you for visiting my gallery!
