Artist's Description
The northern cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) is a North American bird. It is found in woodlands, gardens, shrublands, and swamps of southern Canada, through the eastern United States from Maine to Texas and south through Mexico. Its name refers to the cardinals of the Roman Catholic Church, who wear distinctive red robes and caps.

About Angeles M Pomata
After more than a decade of clinical psychology private practice in Madrid, some years ago I moved to the National Park of Cabo de Gata on the south coast of Spain and started my career as a writer. The peculiar environment in my new home made me a self-taught painter, and over the years painting has become a professional activity.
